For our last meeting of the Spring quarter, we will be hearing from Gonzaga University about their Masters in Tax program. This will be something of particular interest to those who are considering tax as a potential career path and wish to work for one of the Big 4 in Washington, or would like to maintain a strong competitive advantage. You will learn about the program itself, as well as how to apply and the advantages of doing so. The meeting begins at 6:30PM in CF 115, food will be provided, and your ticket in the door is your best self in business casual! See you there!
Good afternoon everyone! The time has come, and the long awaited 2017 Spring Banquet is finally here! This Thursday, May 18, 2017 we will not be having a traditional meeting in CF 115. Instead, we will be meeting at 6:30pm at NorthWood Hall to network with a variety of professionals, induct new members to Beta Alpha Psi, and celebrate our chapter. Dress code is business professional, dinner will be provided, and more information as well as directions to the event can be found at the link below.
This event does require an admission fee. The cost to get in the door is $30, and we will continue to have a table set up in the Parks Hall lobby this week from 11am – 3pm for registration and the facilitation of payments.
If you have not registered already, I strongly encourage you to do so! This is one of Beta Alpha Psi’s biggest events of the year and we would love to see you there!

They will be presenting on a variety of topics, from what to expect from the recruiting process of small firms, to interpersonal skills, managing distractions, and their idea of professionalism. Hello everyone! Welcome to the sixth week of this quarter’s BAP meetings! Oh how time flies. This next meeting will be…drumroll please…on Thursday! Be there May 4th at 6:30 in your finest business casual attire for some free food and an opportunity to hear from our latest speaker, Berntson Porter! Berntson Porter is one of the largest firms serving the Puget Sound region, and serves clients across the globe. This is also a great chance to network and, if you plan on attending their Summer Externship Program in July and August, it’s an opportunity to meet some of their professionals and get to know the firm beforehand. Our presenter will be Accountemps, a division of Robert Half, and the world’s first and largest specialized accounting staffing agency for accounting, finance, and bookkeeping professionals. Hello everyone, and welcome back from break! The first meeting of the quarter will be this Thursday, March 30th. Our guest is EY, a global organization and one of the Big Four accounting firms! The meeting will be held in the usual CF 115 but, unlike our usual meetings, this one will take place beginning at 6:00 pm. Business casual attire is recommended but not required, and food will be provided.
