Mentorship Program

Beta Alpha Psi Mentorship Program

We are excited to announce that beginning this upcoming fall quarter of 2017, Beta Alpha Psi will be offering a mentorship program! This program is designed for accounting upperclassmen to provide assistance and insight to accounting majors and pre-majors in the early stages of their accounting coursework.

This is a great opportunity for young accounting majors to get assistance with progressing through the accounting program, and preparing for recruiting, the professional world, and of course, networking! Gaining access to resources and knowledge from fellow students who have been in your shoes and have had such experiences can help immensely in preparing for the future.

To be considered for a mentor position, you need to have completed Accounting 342, must attend the meeting near the end of spring quarter 2017 (exact date TBD), and must be a member of WWU Accounting Society. As a mentor, you will be assigned to mentee(s) and assist them to move through the accounting program, as well as provide insight into the process of recruiting and transitioning into young professionals. Note: some of these mentoring hours will qualify as volunteer hours!
