WWU’s VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) is a program sponsored by WWU’s Beta Alpha Psi in cooperation with the Internal Revenue Service to provide free tax preparation and assistance to individuals with low-to-moderate income. Right now we are seeking volunteers to help out this upcoming tax season. This is a great way to learn about individual tax returns as well as a way to meet your required BAP volunteer hours.

Take part and enjoy the wonderful opportunity to particate in a Best Practice team. Best practices are activities created and completed by a chapter to further specific goals identified by the board of directors of Beta Alpha Psi and by Deloitte LLP (Deloitte). These activities exemplify the spirit and purpose of Beta Alpha Psi and, if applicable, allow other chapters to emulate those activities.
There are three Best Practices topics that we hope to be involved in as a chapter.
- Financial Literacy
- Effective Operations
- International Impact
To find out more about the topics, please visit the Beta Alpha Psi National Website.
To join a team or ask questions please email Katherine Bareman.
