We returned late Saturday from the Beta Alpha Psi Northwest Regional Meeting in Portland, and are delighted to announce that our Best Practices team for Leadership (Ben Dale, Allison Huston, Logan Sharma, Aubrey Western, and Molly Grater) won first place in the Leadership Best Practices Competition. This was especially impressive since there were a total of 9 teams competing in the Leadership category, all with impressive accomplishments.
As first place winner in the Best Practices competition, our Leadership Best Practices team will be competing with winners from other regions/countries at the Beta Alpha Psi International Meeting in Atlanta this August.
Our Best Practices team in Strategic Planning (Katherine Bareman, Sarah Mansfield, Tarina Evanger, and Marshall Johnson) and our Best Practices team in Collaboration (Amanda Hauser and Jade Parker) also competed strongly against other teams from throughout the Northwest. As with the Leadership competition, all of the teams had great, innovative Best Practices to share, and the competition was fierce!
Twenty of our students, plus faculty advisors, Audrey Taylor and Zite Hutton, participated in the Beta Alpha Psi Northwest Regional Meeting. Next year (April 10-11, 2015), our chapter will co-host with Seattle University the Beta Alpha Psi Northwest Regional Meeting at the Marriott Waterfront Hotel in Seattle.
Please join us in congratulating our Best Practices teams for their fine work!
